Matisse Trees Tapestry Cushion

Try before you buy! Take the guesswork out of matching colours and order samples of our cushion fabrics to see them in your own home and/or add to a mood board. We have samples available for most of our range except tapestry & crocheted cushions.

Sample size is usually about A6 - 10cm x 14cm, but may vary depending on how much fabric we have available. 

We make a small charge for samples at just £1.00 each and postage is free.

Our cushions are handcrafted in our Lancashire studio using high quality fabrics from renowned designers such as Prestigious Textiles, Ashley Wild, Studio G, Clarke & Clarke, and more.

We offer a choice of buying a cover only or pre-filled with:

Fibre Pad

UK made hollowfibre pads with a polycotton casing offering strength and easy care with the breathability of cotton - great for allergy sufferers. The hollowfibre is passed through a carding machine which makes the fibres very light and airy for better loft and bounceback qualities, resulting in a superior pad which will last far longer than imported cushion pads.  

Duck Feather

Our supplier has been established in the UK for 25 years and we chose them for their amazing reputation and consistent quality. All their cushion pads are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified for being healthy and climate friendly. The pad casings are made from 233 count, 100% down proof cotton and the feathers are small duck feathers for improved quality, loft and durability. The feathers are a natural, ethically sourced by product of the food industry which are thoroughly and hygienically cleaned, and are RDS (Responsible Down Standard) certified.

For a more luxurious pad, opt for our feather & down pad, made to the same consistently high standard by our feather pad supplier. These superior quality pads have 85% feather with 15% down filling for that extra softness and springiness. We have to say these are our personal favourites!

A note about cotton and linen....being natural fibres, they are more prone to shinkage than man-made fibres. This can be up to around 5% but can be minimised to some extent by handwashing in cool water rather than machine washing.
